What a day we had on Friday, the sun shone down on us while we played fairground games; watched an art demonstration; listened to tunes being strummed by our guitarist; laughed at Punch & Judy, were amazed by magic; played with balloon modelling creations; petted Barney from Pet Therapy; enjoyed afternoon tea whilst listening to live harp music; competed in our bling your ride competition and admired our Jackson Pollock art exhibit created by residents.
A big, big thank you everyone who helped make the day a success and to everyone who came along. It was lovely to welcome Councillor Karen Douglas the Deputy Mayor of Ards and North Down, paramedics, local ministers, Pet Therapy, families, staff, meet new friends and reacquaint with old friends of Movilla House Nursing Home.
Congratulations to Unsinkable Sid who won our Bling Your Ride Competition, it really was a show stopper.
It was a fun filled day to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. A wonderful day was had by all.
