We are currently recruiting for:

Night Nurse (Part-Time or Full Time) £1000* Joining Bonus

You will be:

• Responsible for providing a high standard of nursing care to all residents
• The named nurse for selected residents
• You will be required to administer, order, receive and store medication in line with policies and procedures
• You will be required to maintain a high level of documentation and record keeping, ensuring that all aspects of the residents care plans and risk assessments are relevant and updated as required
• You will be required to delegate duties accordingly and set a good example for the care assistants working with you
• You will be required to have excellent communication skills to liaise with all staff in Movilla House, the MDT, external stakeholders, residents and relatives
• You will work closely with the Sisters and Home Manager to ensure the residents have all their needs met
• You will be required to maintain and recognise gaps in your training and experience and fill this gap as necessary
• You will be required to actively participate in ongoing projects within Movilla House, clinical supervision, appraisals and all aspects of clinical governance
• You will be expected to be professional and be fully aware of the NMC Code of Conduct
• You will be expected to have an awareness of the standards required from RQIA.

You must:

• Be over 18 due to required training
• You must be currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) – adult, learning disability or mental health
• Have at least 6 months relevant adult nursing experience
• Be competent to take charge of a team of care assistants. Knowledge of current care related procedures and excellent communication skills (both written and oral) are essential
• Recent completion of, or willingness to undertake/update mandatory training (evidence of course content must be shown)
• Details of 2 suitable references from your most recent employer(s)
• Agree to an enhanced disclosure from AccessNI
